Fire Rated Duct Sealant
ALSEAL AS-1730 Fire Rated Duct Sealant is a fire-resistive, water-based indoor/outdoor air duct sealant. It performs as a tough and flexible adhesive and sealant on the joints and seams, thereby effectively blocks the infiltration of gases, dust and other contaminants and the exfiltration of conditioned air. It is able to accommodate minor vibration and movement, stays flexible and does not crack. It has been tested to meet the requirements for UL94 HB Flammability Test.
Ideal for sealing fabricated joints and seams of sheet metal air ducts, fibreglass duct board, thermal insulation, crawl space vapour barriers, house wrap, and other types of air ducts.
