MS Polymer Construction Sealant/Adhesive

MS Polymer Construction Sealant/Adhesive AS-4001 is a one-part, high-performance hybrid sealant based on advanced MS polymer technology. It is designed to meet the stringent requirements for sealing various joints.
It has excellent resistance to weathering, so it has a longer service life. In addition, its solvent- and isocyanate-free formulation ensures that the cured sealant will not shrink or have bubbling issues. It also contains no silicone oil, which minimizes problems with building aesthetics caused by oil and dirt stains that often occur with silicone sealants. The sealant’s adhesion to a wide range of surfaces is excellent, and it can be painted with most types of common industrial paints.

Recommended for sealing concrete joints like precast wall panel joints, expansion joints, control joints, connection joints, etc. It is also ideal for window frame perimeter sealing especially when the sealant needs to be painted. Other recommended applications include sealing of GRC panel systems, anodized aluminum, masonry, porcelain, coated metal, finished wood, epoxy and polyester panels, UPVC, polystyrene, and stainless steel. Thanks to its strong adhesion features, the product can be used where elasticity is required or movements are expected. For wet or porous surfaces such as concrete, primer AS-602 for excellent adhesion is recommended.

ALSEAL AS-4001 MS Construction Sealant/Adhesive has been tested by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited independent third-party testing laboratory in accordance with 21 CFR 175.300 – Resin and Polymer Coatings. This rule applies to most types of adhesives and coatings used on food contact surfaces.
